Certainty They wonder what's beyond the realm,
Of Man and his primitive wars.
What lies past the scope of the eye,
Want to know where we go when we die.

Among the clouds or beneath the dirt,
In sunlight or in flame,
Who has the right to send them there?
Like pawns in someone's game.

I never worry, a trivial issue,
I choose where I want to go,
An eternity in my own paradise,
No one can tell me otherwise.
Out of Reach I sit here in silence,
Not necessarily sweet.
And contemplate the things in life,
That may or may not be.

Many questions, answers elusive,
Wish I was smart enough to understand,
The laws that rule the inner workings,
Of everything I know.

These numbers, graphs - so complicated,
I'll never comprehend,
These limitations I realise,
There's nothing I can do.

The beautiful equation - out of my reach,
The continuum above me.
But I won't worry, it's nothing more,
Than a hopeless, fleeting dream.
Questioning the Mind Why is the storm
Angry and quick?
Fast does it come, fast does it go,
Without a thought as to the others.

Whether major disturbance or trivial rumble,
The storm does soon arrive.
They all stand out in soaking rains,
For soon the torrent shall pass.

One day the Sun may cease to shine,
As argent clouds obscure,
A sky once open, clear, and wide,
A happy place no more.

Decided I would post this before I have depress myself doing an entirely new one for a class project. Apparently my anatomy is wrong and I'm not working with the markers right and I got a tutorial on inking even though what I was "taught" was what I'd been doing for years. D:<

ANYWAY. The scanner TOTALLY washed this out. Its body is MUCH more reflective and rich in texture in real life. Sadness. Bad scanner. ):

Ohwellz. It's not everyday you see an anthro dolphin. Woot.

Done in Prismacolour Markers. MY FIRST ATTEMPT EVAR. XDDD

I love the concept. Considering it's an anthro dolphin, I would think you could sort of cheat on the anatomy a little anyway. What other choice do you have? If it's a humanish/dolphinish creature, then by definition, parts of it will intentionally not look like a correct human while other parts will intentionally not look like a correct dolphin. Regardless, I personally think the drawing is nicely done: it's simple but attractive, stylized, and you've got a great 'line of action' that a lot of artists have trouble bringing out in their animals, humans, and hybrids. Well done!

Who gives a crap about bloody anatony? It's not supposed to be right. It's an anthro.
Who cares about marker use or inking techniques? I do art because it's fun, and I like it, not because I'm good at it.
So should everyone, should they choose.
Honestly, that sucks. You cannot grade art because it is an emotive and creative subject, so telling you it's "wrong" is actually more wrong, if you get that. No one knows what an anthro would look like, so who are they to tell you the anatomy doesn't look like that?!
Actually, seeing this, I was taken abackby how awesome it looked. I tried anthro-ing a dolphin a while ago, and it stank.
Mentally tell those teachers to stuff it.
